Project initiators

We are pleased to present the initiators of the international action of solidarity of musicians from all over the world with Ukraine “Music of Defiance”:

Oles Zhuravchak – musician, cultural critic, art manager, producer, Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine (2014), Managing Director of the National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Ukraine;

Olha Kononenko, Honored Artist of Ukraine, art manager, Director General of the National House of Music;

Mykhailo Shved – composer, acting director general of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, PhD in Art History, Honored Artist of Ukraine, winner of the L. Revutsky, M. Leontovych, and B. Liatoshynsky Prizes;

Yevhen Zolotukhin – composer, artistic director of the Kharkiv Philharmonic; Yevhen Petrychenko is a composer, music producer, and director of artistic projects and concert programs at the National House of Music.
